Sightseeing glider flights

The sports airfield in Bielsko-Biała is located in the Aleksandrowice district, about 5 kilometers from the slopes of Dębowiec and Szyndzielnia. The aeroclub offers scenic flights over the Beskid Mountains. Flights are available year-round. Possible options include: – Winch glider flight – an exceptionally exciting flight. Takeoff is practically vertical, at 300 meters the pilot releases the rope and then glides along the southern airfield perimeter. During this flight, you can see the city of Bielsko-Biała, the slopes of Szyndzielnia, and Dębowiec.

The flight lasts about 5 minutes; – Glider-to-plane flight – this is a much more relaxed version of the flight. The flight is longer, the takeoff is gentle, and the glider releases at 800 meters. Then, for about 40 minutes, you can glide along Szyndzielnia, Klimczok, Błatnia, Bielsko, and the surrounding towns. With good visibility, you can see Babia Góra and even the Tatra Mountains from the glider! – A flight in a touring motor glider – this flight option guarantees great flexibility. In 15 minutes, we can see Chrobacza Łąka, Magurka Wilkowicka, Klimczok and Szyndzielnia, Szczyrk, Skrzyczne, and Bielsko. In 30 minutes, we can add Żywiec, Góra Żar, and Wisła to this list. For more demanding passengers, we can arrange a flight of any length upon request – we especially recommend the flight to the Tatra Mountains. There are restaurants and an air playground at the airport. We also organize special events and team-building activities.
